Your account
Your account is you. An organisation is the thing you work in. The two are managed in different places, and deleting one does not delete the other.
Open the menu with your name at the bottom of the sidebar to reach your account settings.
Profile
Account → Profile holds your display name and email address. The name is what teammates see beside you on the team page.
Changing your email is confirmed by a code sent to the new address, so a typo cannot lock you out of your own account.
Sign-in methods
BrandSonar has no passwords. Account → Login methods lists the providers you can sign in with, and you can connect or disconnect them there:
- Connect or disconnect at any time.
- Apple
- Connect or disconnect at any time.
- Microsoft
- Connect or disconnect at any time.
You cannot disconnect your last remaining method, since that would leave no way back in. Connect a second one first if you want to move off the one you signed up with.
Switching organisations
One account can belong to several organisations. The organisation menu at the top of the sidebar switches between them, and the whole app follows the one you pick: mentions, settings, billing.
Closing your account
Account → Close account deletes your user permanently, along with the data attached to it. It cannot be undone.
Closing your account is not the same as deleting an organisation. If you are the owner and want the organisation gone too, cancel its subscription and delete it from Settings → Danger zone first. See Plans & billing.
