Slack
Connect a workspace once, then any alert can post to any channel in it.
Slack is the destination most teams settle on. A mention that lands in the channel where the team already is gets answered; the same mention in an inbox usually does not.
Connecting
Go to Settings → Integrations and click Connect beside Slack. Slack asks you to authorise BrandSonar and pick the workspace, then sends you back to the same page, now showing the workspace name.
BrandSonar asks for permission to post messages and to list channels. The channel list is what fills the picker when you create an alert. It does not read messages.
Sending alerts to a channel
The channel is chosen per alert, not per workspace, so different alerts can land in different places. Create an alert, choose Slack as the destination, and pick a channel from the list.
For private channels, invite the BrandSonar app to the channel first, or it cannot post there.
Disconnecting
Disconnect on the same page removes the connection. Alerts pointing at Slack stop sending and stay in place, so reconnecting the workspace brings them back without reconfiguring anything.
Only owners and admins can connect or disconnect integrations. See Team & roles.
